How to Make the Best of March Break: A Student’s Guide

March Break is here! A whole week with no classes, no homework (hopefully), and a chance to relax. But don’t let it slip by without making the most of it. Whether you want to recharge, get ahead, or have fun, here’s how to make the best of your break.

1. Rest, But Don’t Waste It

Yes, sleep in! You deserve it. But don’t spend the whole week glued to your bed or binge-watching shows. Set a daily schedule to balance rest with productivity.

Pro Tip: Aim for at least 7-9 hours of sleep to reset your energy.

2. Try Something New

You don’t need a big vacation to have fun. A local day trip can be just as exciting. Visit a museum, go for a hike, or check out a new café with friends.

Budget-Friendly Ideas:

✔ Picnic in the park

Don’t let March Break turn into a couch potato week. Get outside, go for a walk, or try a new workout. Even a short daily stretch can boost your mood and energy.

Social media is fun, but too much screen time can drain you. Take a break from endless scrolling. Try a tech-free morning or an entire day without screens. You’ll feel more refreshed and focused.

Easy Ways to Unplug:

✔ Read a book instead of scrolling
✔ Go outside without your phone
✔ Try journaling or meditating
