At The Progressive Centre, we will create a personalized program for your child, help them catch up and keep up with school curriculum, and set them up for success in the future. We offer specialized tutoring services for students in grades 1-12 that are taught by educated, experienced tutors. Our tutors work with your child to develop strong math skills that build confidence, self-esteem and motivation to continue on a path of learning.
The expectations in the Ontario mathematics curriculum are organized into six distinct but related strands: A. Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Skills in Mathematics and the Mathematical Processes; B. Number; C. Algebra; D. Data; E. Spatial Sense; and F. Financial Literacy. We ensure that our program not only follows their school program, but we aim to fill in any foundational gaps that your child may have.

While only educational psychologists can provide true educational assessments, our tutors are encouraged to do monthly checks with their students. These monthly checks are helpful in determining how your child is progressing with their educational goals.
After each lesson, parents will receive a summary of what took place during the session.
